They weren't kidding when they said super solid! Feels very heavy duty...definitely heavy. Overall I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and of course I have always been 100% satisfied with Out of Darts. Always quick shipping and amazing service from them.
Feels really good, well built, and lightweight. Easy to take off and collapse. The stock is a little wobbly, but not much to notice.
I got this stock several months ago for my Modulus Stryfe, and it works awesome. It fully collapses even with the OOD small Stryfe extended battery cover. This stock is built very well, considering it only costs $20. My biggest gripe about this stock is that the sliding system is a little wobbly, but for any nerf use it won't bother anything. Also, while there is some play in the sliding part, it doesn't feel like it's going to fall off or break; you can put a lot of weight on this stock (i.e., bracing it against your shoulder to prime a heavy spring) and it will hold up fine. The actual stock attachment point (the part that attaches the stock to the blaster) is very solid. The mock buffer tube is just friction fitted, but it shouldn't come off on its own. If it bothers you, you can just use a little hot glue or something (like I did.) This stock is also very comfortable, using the mock buffer tube as a cheek rest.
VERY well built
Solid attachment point
Comfortable to shoulder
Makes your Stryfe look like a PDW
Wobbly sliding mechanism
TL;DR--Perfect nerf stock (especially for a Stryfe), apart from the play in the sliding mechanism.
Perfect stock for a worker prophecy, very simple, extremely sturdy, and a very good price!
So I took my retaliator butt piece and cut off the back tube. I then sanded and ground all the rough edges. This simple mod lets the plunger rod pass out of the back of the blaster when primed. Make sure you only remove the tube part while leaving the square part that screws onto you blaster intact. The square part with the screws hold the back of the blaster and the spring in place. After the part modification, the simple stock fits perfectly onto the retaliator. It still won't fit a Recon CS-6 because of the reverse plunger design of that blaster. Anyway, I now can use and love this stock. For the price, the value is unbelievable. Just make sure you have a saw and sandpaper if you want to put it on a retaliator or recon mk2. Oh look, the worker elite stock adapter is back in stock. Nevermind. ;)
