Stryfe Extended Battery Cover (2 sizes)
This is the first time I was not throughly impressed with a product from this site. The two tabs broke off where it hooks in to the shell. I hope the print quality improves.
I've been buying from this site for approx 2 yrs now & this is the first time the 3d printed parts arrived looking sub par. The inside strands on both lids I bought aren't even melted into the lid , they literally are like guitar strings attached at 2 points . The stryfe expanded wire channel for volt meter (I bought 2) both needed to be finish trimmer to remove supports & have the mounting holes cleared out & both were slightly crooked. I mention these issues as I know the shop has recently grown a lot & I hope this isn't the new trend to drop quality in the interest of speed. Will keep my eyes open.
It looks great but the stylish angle design limits battery space. I have an older printed battery cover that allows me to fit a 3S 2700 in my Sniper Stryfe but the angle front of this cover will not fit the 2s 2250 I am wanting to use in my Spray Stryfe. It also required quite a bit of hand fitting but that's to be expected with printed parts. It looks cool but the cool look limits functionality.
Like the others already said, it needs filing to fit the stryfe. I had to file the two prongs down quite a bit. Also the front lip where the screw goes in. And even a little on the blaster itself.
I think it should for correctly right from the start but it's awesome once you do get it right.
