The best beginner, pro-level, blaster

I love the Game Face Trion. It has some missteps, but there's so much to love that many seem forgivable. The Trion has a look and feel that screams "Competition/Sport Equipment" quality. The injection molded frame is sturdy, the vibrant colors of the the Teal or Red against the white looks so professional. The clean lines and thin body feel as good as it looks to wield. And beyond the aesthetics, it also performs amazingly!

Customization is this blaster's true purpose. Along with the easy to swap spring spacers , the flared magwell, the full length picatinny, the swappable AR grip, the picatinny under the foregrip, the swappable buffer tube stock, the mLok slots along the barrel, the hair trigger, all of this proves it. On top of that the open breach makes the blaster easy to service and provides a lot of visibility of the chamber.

Performance wise, Game Face really undersells whats printed on the box. I was getting 140-150 FPS with no spacers, 180 with 1 spacer, and 200+ with two spacers using Worker Gen 3 Darts. I would suggest some kind of rifling solution when using 1 spacer or more. Accuracy is insane and FPS consistency is much better than expected at this price point.

But there are some missteps, namely the proprietary muzzle thread. The fact this thing can hit over 200 FPS out of the box but didnt include some kind of rifling is baffling, and to add that you have to go a bit beyond for a solution. Thankfully OOD sells a Thanh printed one that works great with 1 or 2 spacers, but to not have a rifling solution included and to make it a bear to add one seems like a gross overstep. I have also seen some users have issue with the blaster not firing either due to the trigger catch or not priming forward enough for the blaster engage the lock. I haven't experienced these personally, but I feel that a return spring and a metal trigger catch would have eliminated these issues entirely.

This is such a fantastic blaster to start with since it can cover a wide range of FPS, and the attachments allow the user to grow with the blaster as they try different attachments and configurations. If you have access to a 3D Printer, there are a variety of ways to address the glaring rifling issue.
