By purchasing, installing, modifying, or using any product sold by Out of Darts, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with its use, including risks arising from modification, improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidental discharge, battery mishandling, or failure to follow instructions and safety precautions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Out of Darts disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, injury, or damage arising from the installation, modification, possession, shipment, or use of its products. Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot be lawfully disclaimed under applicable law. Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product is lawful to purchase, import, possess, modify, carry, transport, or use in their jurisdiction.

Out of Darts, LLC is an independent company and, unless in cases explicitly stated otherwise, is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro Nerf, Zuru X-Shot, Prime Time Dart Zone, or Buzz Bee Air Warriors in any way.

90-Day Return Policy

We accept returns within 90 days of successful delivery. Any extensions of this return window beyond 90 days are strictly at the sole discretion of Out of Darts.

To be eligible for a full refund of the purchase price with the original payment method, all items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and preferably in their original packaging.

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers are expected to cover return shipping costs unless otherwise noted.
  • Condition Rules: If the items you are returning are used, damaged, or in an unusable condition, any refund will be granted in the form of in-store credit.
  • Customization & Labor Fees: Labor for all fully assembled blasters is non-refundable. Unless the order is canceled before 3D parts have started printing, 3D-printed blasters and parts can only be returned for in-store credit.
  • Hazardous Materials: We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases and physically damaged LiPo batteries. Please get in touch with us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
  • European Union Cooling-off Period: If merchandise is being shipped into the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to the agreed payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us.

90-Day Limited Warranty

Out of Darts warrants all products sold against manufacturing defects for 90 days from the date of delivery. Any extensions of this warranty coverage beyond the 90-day period are strictly at the sole discretion of Out of Darts.

  • Who is Covered: This warranty covers the original purchaser of the item and is partially transferable to subsequent owners of the purchased product if appropriate documentation (i.e., the original order number and/or receipt) is provided. Out of Darts reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage when doing so exceeds reasonable expectations.
  • What is Not Covered: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications or alterations made by the user, stripped screws or gears, burned-out motors resulting from stalls, or damage caused by improper battery maintenance (including failing to charge a LiPo before use properly).
  • What We Will Do: Out of Darts will, at our sole discretion, repair the defective item, replace it with an equivalent product, or issue a refund or in-store credit.
  • How to Get Service: Email orders@outofdarts.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a video of the defect.

Legal Disclosures:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability, are limited in duration to the 90-day term of this limited warranty.

Shipping Policies

We ship daily, Monday through Friday, with most orders without lead times going out the same day or the next day. Orders placed after our courier pickup on Friday will generally ship out on Monday or Tuesday. Please double-check your mailing address at checkout!

Domestic Shipping (USA)

Most packages shipped within the USA are delivered within 2-7 business days via USPS or UPS. We take full responsibility for getting your package to you safely, regardless of carrier mishandling. However, we are at the mercy of the carriers for packages arriving on time. We do not offer next-day service, guaranteed delivery dates, nor do we refund shipping due to a missed delivery expectation.

International Shipping & Import Duties

We ship internationally to select countries. International delivery times generally range from 4-5 weeks. Due to the high cost and poor reliability, we do not offer express services for international orders.

Important: We are unable to provide “Delivered Duty Paid” services. International customers are 100% responsible for all VAT, customs fees, brokerage, or import duties charged at delivery. Please check your local policies before ordering. We currently cannot ship any blasters or Lithium batteries internationally.

Pre-Orders & 3D-printed Lead Times

All 3D-printed items are printed to order, and this may impact your shipment date. Please pay attention to the posted lead times on each listing and our Shipping Updates Page. If your order contains pre-ordered items or items with lead times, we will hold your entire order until all products are available to ship together. We recommend splitting your order if you need in-stock items sooner.

LiPo Battery Shipping Restrictions

LiPo packages must travel via ground-only transit to continental USA destinations only. They cannot ship by air. We offer UPS Ground (5-10 business days) for shipping LiPos and similar restricted items.

For transportation safety, all batteries are shipped at a 30% storage charge. Please fully and properly charge any batteries in a safe environment before first use. Using a new LiPo without fully charging will destroy the battery and void any manufacturer or retailer warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer warehouse tours or local pickup?

Yes. We offer local pickup at OOD HQ in Vancouver, WA, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM. Just select “Local Pickup” at checkout, and we will notify you when it’s ready for pickup. Because our team is small and the warehouse is an active, working facility, we cannot offer warehouse tours or drop-in visits on request at this time. Stay tuned to our social media for our occasional, irregular OOD Open House events.

Why are your products more expensive than some competitors’?

While we wish we could compete with massive supply chains, we are still a small business. When you purchase from us, your hard-earned money goes to our dedicated team of staff and our brilliant slate of licensed designers, enabling us to continue providing high-quality products and ongoing customer support you can’t get anywhere else in the same way.

Do you offer sales?

While distributing coupons or hosting regular sales sounds like a good thing, the truth is that many businesses must artificially raise their prices to make those discounts seem attractive. Additionally, the stress that frequent sales would put on our small team is not worth the short-term gains.

Instead, we are committed to providing reasonable, sustainable prices year-round and occasionally discounting a wide selection of used, refurbished, and clearance items so that there’s something available for everyone.

Do you take custom mod commissions?

We are not currently accepting custom mod commissions or custom design requests from individual customers due to the immense time and bandwidth required. Additionally, Out of Darts team members cannot travel to facilitate or help with personal projects.

Can I get my order in a custom 3D-printed filament color?

Allowing for infinite filament color options for 3D-printed products does not scale well, and we have purposefully limited our official selection of colorways. However, in the rare case we do not have a suitable color, you may need to purchase the filament (1.75mm HTPLA/PLA) directly from the manufacturer and have it shipped to our warehouse.

Can I get free blasters or a sponsorship?

We love seeing the passion in the foam-flinging community! However, as a small business, we cannot simply give away free products to anyone who asks. Our limited annual sponsorship and marketing budget is dedicated to regional and national events (like Ragnaroktoberfest), select competitive blaster tag teams (like Red Tide), and content creators we already have close relationships with.

How do you test blaster performance?

All posted FPS velocities are measured on a Caldwell chronograph in controlled conditions to eliminate as many variables as possible. We take an average after at least 20 shots using fresh ammo. Read more detailed information about our testing procedures in this blog post.

How is my order packaged?

All our packaging is made from recycled paper, and we reuse as much as possible, meaning you may receive used boxes or materials. All domestically shipped orders feature prominent Out of Darts logos on the tape. If you need discreet, unbranded packaging for a gift, please leave a note in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout or contact us immediately after ordering.

What is your privacy policy?

Unless you have explicitly opted in to our in-stock notifications or our once-monthly newsletter, we will not email or text you beyond what is needed for shipping and order communications.
