Worth a buy, just not perfect
I got this to replace the 3d printed thumbscrew on the SLAB. It is on the blaster to hold in the barrel and every time I fired the barrel would come out just a little. When I took it out, I saw that the threads on the thumbscrew were basically nonexistent. When I started using this thumbscrew it held the barrel in better, but it still came out a little. Just less frequently. This is much better than the stock one but still not perfect. It would be good if there was an aluminum thumbscrew, because that would probably hold the barrel better.
Avery, we are sorry you had a negative experience with our Nylon Thumb Scew. You can use a metal thumbscrew, but it will damage your barrel. The purpose of the Nylon alternative is to keep your barrel from being marred and still offer a decent hold.
The turnaround is great. The ram is too tight even with lube and letting it sit in the turnaround for a few days straight. I would suggest print the ram with the **** to adjust the oring in SLS.
