Pros:
-solid construction
-mostly screws threading into standoffs, with exceptions like the detent and face plate
-good prime, but not remarkably easy compared to similar blasters
-great air seal
-takes dry firing like a champ
-grip can store some bits
Nitpicks:
-back base of my thumb strikes the trigger guard when priming and hitting the overtravel.
-trigger lock on prime still lets you flex the sear.
-mine had a faulty barrel chamfer and loose set of pump bearings. ood handled the former and I tightened the latter.
-stock rail is quite tall and already at the height I would want iron sights to sit.
-spring swap is pretty annoying compared to a lynx (pull pin, pull out shroud and pump). requires you unscrew 2 small screws with a hex key, then grab a different hex key to undo the larger pin and an easy to lose grub **** in the transfer bar
-noticeably wider than a lynx and feels comparatively bulky.
-hard to find springs. The 1.6 falls awkwardly halfway between 200 and 250, so you're left too hot for 200 and mildly suboptimal for comp. It can take older s100 springs, but those are hard to find.
-narrow barrel options. It can't take internal muzzle devices, which leaves you with ~41cm minimum barrel length (good luck downtuning with worn darts)
All that to say that this is a pretty decent injection molded blaster, and a worthy consideration if you aren't willing to put in work modding a lynx to your exact preference.
I genuinely love everything about this blaster except the plastic is thin, and the stock o-ring is cheap with a poor air seal. Be gentle with this blaster and replace the o-ring… then it’s golden.
This thing fires lasers!! Putting wholes through cardboard boxes with the upgraded spring
This is an absolutely phenomenal blaster, it's a pretty easy prime even with the 2.0 spring, it's a smooth prime even though it sounds clunky, the accuracy and power you can achieve with it is great too, I'm able to get a 5" by 5" spread at 25 yards.
It also has great build quality.
Overall I'd rate it 9.5/10
Very sold blaster. Very good quality construction that is easy to modify. I have upgraded the spring and added a BCAR to make this a really powerful and accurate shooter.
