The AIT + 40MAX Lightning is a compact brushless flywheel blaster collaboration from the makers of the popular 40mm air-powered cartridges. Featuring a familiar profile, this blaster improves on similar blasters with a smaller size, a unique brushless cam pusher, and a more ergonomic fire mode select switch. This flywheeler also promises improved trigger response with a two-stage trigger and an intelligent idling mode. Additionally, the included quick-release battery and integrated OLED ammo-counting display make the blaster a complete package for both beginners and competitive players. Available in two colors.

Man this is an amazing blaster. I have been looking at getting a Diana for along time, and even used one before, but this AIT Lightning absolutely blows it out of the water. The battery is arguably the best part, easily fitting into the blaster, and charging from dead to full in about 15 minutes. The firmware updates can be complicated to install (especially if you forget to unzip the folder), but it is worth it for the amount of customizing you can then do on the settings of the blaster. Super zippy, with great medium range grouping. I then printed the mag extenders for the gun, and 20 rounds in 2 seconds is... fast. Even though the magazine didn't originally take well to the mag extender, it has worked well for me so far. It fits perfectly on my large nerf wall. The original blaster I received worked well for about 200 rounds, then started to make an angry noise when idling. No drop in performance was seen, but after contacting Out of Darts, they quickly responded and sent me a new model, which works perfectly. I think my only complaint for this gun is the fact that it will only fire light colored darts due to its light based magazine detection system, and that it chews through darts really quickly. As long as you are willing to buy copious amounts of red darts, this is the perfect gun for you!
The blaster didn’t fit my hand. The trigger pinched my finger along with the pointed rev trigger.
Nothing I can’t fix , with creativity from adding volume on right side of grip.
Further elevated my finger, keeping it from pinching.
I like the blaster, but think it was made without consideration to feel. It’s funny to me because it feel’s like a toy. It’s been meaningful making it fit my right hand.
I’m wanting to block the WiFi antenna on the green board. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Definitely more then I expected! Doesn't get caught up even after several hundred rounds.. only to the point that the darts eventually get warn down.. it's very accurate and easy to set up!
dad got me this for Christmas and it is excellent. Only four stars due to shipping issues that are on UPS not OOD
