The Out of Darts Loki is a Neodymium brushed motor designed for high-speed micro-flywheeler and dual-stage mini-flywheeler blaster modding projects. Featuring a 130-sized can and our signature slanted vent design, these are among the highest-end motors of choice for 3S flywheel cages. No shell cutting is required in most builds.

after installing the flywheels, powering the motors make an insanely loud noise. after closer inspection it appears the motors shaft is oscillating

Hi, I was wondering if these motors were to be put into a 2nd stage compartment, would it cause any significant wear on these motors?
I put these motors into a stryfe build I have been working on and originally they worked amazing and was very happy with them. However, maybe a month after installing them with only light-moderate usage the Loki motors didn't spin up evenly, didn't spin fully up as much as they used to, and started smelling kind of smoky or like something was burning when they spun. Sad to see that because they had been working great for me. Overall, these motors are amazing when then work, just sadly seem to have reliability issues

Im sorry to hear you were having issues with our Loki's It is worth noting Lokis are a low torque high rpm motor and not intended for full sized flywheels unless places in a second or third stage. If you are doing a single staged build with Lokis its recommended to use nightingale wheels or similar sized micro wheels. This is explained in our listing and we are sorry for any confusion this might have caused.
