For $19, this is a great deal. Yes you have to buy a $20 battery as well, but for $39 you add ~25 fps to your Perses and the switches really do feel more snappy and the rev-up time is much quicker. I love the video that Luke made, but I was a little disappointed the kit didn't include the XT-60 connectors with mounting screws for a battery tray he references in the video, I couldn't figure out how to mount the connector properly without that part. Also the video does not show what to do with the brown wire clearly -- it's a negative wire, though. I don't agree with the other reviewers that said it's a super-easy mod. It wasn't really hard, but there are a lot of steps to do, plan on clearing your schedule for the afternoon....
Using the mod guide video along with the supplies ensured an easy installation process even for beginners.
Spend the money this kit is awesome
