RedCowl Harrier/Seagull Bearing-Assisted Prime Kit
RedCowl Harrier/Seagull Bearing-Assisted Prime Kit
RedCowl's Worker Harrier / Seagull Bearing-Assisted Prime Kit is a 3D-printed priming block upgrade to the included acetal priming block in the Worker Harrier and Seagull. Featuring eight POM bearings (like the ones used in the Sillybutts Alchemist), the priming block glides smoothly against the barrel, greatly improving the feel of the prime. This DIY kit is easy to assemble with the included hardware, and it installs easily, too!

3D printed parts should not be left inside hot cars or excessively hot environments.
I cant tell if it's any better than before. It does feel gritty, like the other reviews say, it doesn't feel smooth.
But I did pair it with a heavier spring. I was expecting it to feel smoother but maybe it will get better. Everything installed fine. All of the rollers were smoothly spinning before install.
We are sorry to hear you had a negative experience with this upgrade. You should not feel any grit in the prime. We recommend opening everything up and cleaning /relubricating your tracks.
The print was a little strangely oriented since it chose to ignore redcowl's support free picatinny, but it didn't affect the end result. The bearings however, became gritty upon any load being applied. The vertical pair are spaced very tightly and cause the block to always feel gritty, but removing one from that set still causes whatever other bearing you torque the block against become gritty.
Hi John,
It sounds like we made a mistake in printing this part. The rail is definitely only supposed to be printed in one orientation, with the slopes facing down. I'd be happy to refund or replace this depending on your preference. I'll reach out by e-mail directly.
Fast delivery excellent service! Item came as described! Amazing quality! Definitely order from again!
