The Nerf Stryfe is a stock-class flywheel-powered blaster that was sold under the N-Strike Elite and N-Strike Modulus lines. It was first released in 2013 and has since become the classic magazine-fed Nerf flywheeler.
This Stryfe Ultimate Mod Kit contains everything you need to modify and reassemble this blaster yourself, including an XT30 battery terminal, a convenient glue-on rev switch mounting plate, and an extended battery door in your choice of color. Haven’t installed it yet but it will be good
Everything was great and functioned well just a shame it didn’t work properly in the blaster I wanted to use it in. This is not a negative review if you plan to drop this into a stryfe it’s a great kit, just be careful using it for other blasters with stryfe internals
The Kraken motors and Daybreak flywheels are fantastic, but both the switch plate and battery cover I received required heavy modification to fit in my Stryfe (orange Elite). Both had serious bridging issues, leaving them warped. I needed to print different designs myself, as well as several additional parts to accommodate the wiring included with the kit. I had to start over twice; 4 more inches of red and two inches of black wire would have made install super quick and easy.
If you're considering buying this kit I recommend purchasing extra lengths of wire, better XT60 terminals, and either buy or 3D-print files for a larger battery cover, Bobololo's rev trigger, rev trigger snap-in switch plates, and expanded wire channel covers. The kit doesn't come with instructions, but "Captain Xavier" and "Make Test Battle" have super helpful Stryfe modding tutorial videos on YouTube.
The motor burned up the first time. The cage was 3d printed the side that the motor burn up melt the plastic
Hi, We're sorry to hear about the burnt out motor. We'd be happy to help diagnose what's going on with your build and get you replacement parts. If you can, send us more details on your wiring. If you are table to take photos this can be very helpful in solving any potential problems.
I ordered this kit several weeks ago and the installation was quick and all the parts fit great. I had an issue with a battery and they were great in helping me solve and correct the issue. This is my first modified kit, but I’ll likely purchasing another (lower power version), as my kids are jealous (as they should be).
