The Dartzone Pro MK3 is a very solid blaster. We couldn't help ourselves, however, in upgrading it. This kit features two Kraken motors for the flywheels, a custom cage designed by Luke for the MK3, and a pair of Daybreak flywheels. This kit includes the components needed to create a modular cage system with an XT-60 connector. Add the other half to your stock cage and you can swap your cages easily!  Check out our blog post with details on this mod.

HOLY CR@P BATMAN

Wow. Picked up the MK3 on clearance and this kit including the Kraken pusher motor. All the kids in the neighborhood hear that spooling sound and run back to mommy. Granted I'm 30 years their elder, but hey I have a job. Buy this, minimal soldering and the YouTube video walks you through everything. Love it. Get the short dart adapter fix as well, it will work without it but you will trash a lot of darts in the process.

Great mod kit!

Great kit! The board included makes wiring the motors so much easier. The XT60 connectors included are not a complete pair (I forget which is missing; M/F) so I recommend purchasing another connector or removing the one from the battery tray to complete the removable flywheel cage.

Great kit overall

This kit has just about everything you need to upgrade your MK3. Luke's build video is again a great resource if you aren't an experienced modder. The only thing I thing it may need is a third Kraken motor for the pusher. I'm not sure if it was just my blaster or if it's all MK3's but on 3S lipo I got pusher runaway with both the stock and the Valkyrie motor I tried. Popped in the Kraken and the problem went away. The picture is the current state of the build so the cage isn't one included in the kit and there are a few other quality of life bits from Out of Darts included as well. I do have the included cage and one of lower crush wired up with a XT-60 connector on the spanner board for quick swaps.

Shoots Fast

My friends are reluctant to have any nerf wars with me.

Pretty easy, had trouble once

This mod was quite simple. I only had issues with one thing provided by OOD, that was getting my flywheels even.

The other issue was with the Mk3 itself, it has a plastic piece that tends to fall off the “top” side of the shell, and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where it went for the longest time.

Thanks to OOD, my blaster is BLASTING!!!
